Montana is my American home even though I only lived there from age 14 to 23. It's really beautiful with lakes, rivers, forests, mountains, though plains on the eastern half are less inviting. I'm glad I lived in the western part of the state. It resembles many places in Norway. The weather is dryer there so the cold doesn't seem as bad as it does here in Norway where the humidity is so much higher.
