I went to Memphis to see the American Idol tour. My daughter bought tickets and her pregnant friend was going with her, but the friend started having Braxton-Hicks contractions so I went instead. Daughter and I are both Adam Lambert fans. Now my daughter has won tickets to the tour in St. Louis so we are going there the end of August. We are currently in Grand Haven Michigan. Hey Mona, where is it you live again? White Lake? We hope to come back for the Coast Guard festival end of July. This time we just wanted to get away awhile. We have done a little shopping, and watched the sun set over Lake Michigan. This is truly the most beautiful place on earth. Maybe this is where we will retire someday.

Looks like another trip down south for us in October. Our youngest, the only boy, is getting married in October. They live in NC and she works in VA. The visit with family was nice but driving vacations are getting to be awfully hard on us. Also I picked up some kind of virus. I went to work Monday but barely made it through the day. I just happened to already have a doc. appt. Monday after work. He said it's a virus that will last 2-4 days. Never been this sick before.

This time we are goint to NC for spring break. We have a daughter and 4 grandkids there, also a son and my sister and neices. Durham, Raleigh, and Fayetteville. So far it's cool, like back home in Indy, raining a lot. Hopefully at least one day will be nice so we can go ta the beach.
