Profile Information

About Me
I'm a 31 yr old Cherokee originating from Ohio, spent some time in Minnesota, where I met my spiritual advisor, known only as Mr Tim, while under his tutelage, I was shown the ways and eventually adopted into the Leech Lake band of the Chippewa Nation. I currently reside in a small town in Illinois, where thanks to the help of what few friends I have in life, I am slowly reconnecting with my religious views... I've been brought up by my mother to believe that everything has a spirit, from the smallest pebble to the highest mountain, from the green shoot of grass pushing itself through the frost, to the gnarled, lightning struck tree standing guard over my forefather's graves...In my profile pic, I'm the one on the far left, my older brother is center, and the big caveman looking guy on the right is my oldest brother. Family is a big thing with us, we tend to get together whenever, wherever we can, usually just to see what kind of trouble we can cause :-)

I am of The Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation...The Wolf Clan is the largest of the Cherokee clans today and the most prominent. The Wolf Clan has provided most of the history’s war chiefs and warriors. Wolves are known as protectors of the people. Members of the Wolf Clan are the trackers and keepers of the wolves and members are the only ones who can kill a wolf after performing sacred ceremonies. This Clan is known as a Red War Clan. Wolf is also my totem animal, and is a major focus of my life in general..

The Native American Code of Ethics

1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit will listen, if only you speak.

2. Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance.

3. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road and your's alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.

4. Treat the guest in your home with much consideration. Serve the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with respect and honor.

5. Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community, the wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours.

6. Respect all things that are placed upon Mother Earth ~ whether it be plant, animal, mineral, water, land or human.

7. Honor other people's thoughts, wishes, and words. Never interrupt another or mock or rudely mimic them. Allow each person the right to personal expression.

8. Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.

9. All persons make mistakes. And all mistakes can be forgiven.

10. Bad thought causes illness of the mind, body and spirt. Practice optimism.

11. Nature is NOT for us, it is a PART of us. We are one large family.

12. Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown, give them space to grow.

13. Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will return to you.

14. Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the test of one's will within this universe.

15. Keep yourself balanced. Your Mental self, Spiritual self, Emotional self, and Physical self ~ all need to be strong, pure and healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich in spirit to cure emotional ails.

16. Make concious decisions as to who you will be and how you will react. Be responsible for your own actions.

17. Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not touch the personal property of others ~ especially sacred and religious objects. This is forbidden.

18. Be true to yourself first. You cannot nurture and help others if you cannot nurture and help yourself first.

19. Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on others.

20. Share your good fortunes with others. Participate in charity.

The Long And Rough Road Continues

Sorry to have gone Missing for so long, but with all the real life issues pressing me into a corner, I had no other choice.

The Custody Battle for Elizabeth:
Things went very well on that subject, between the State of Minnesota and myself especially, for the mother, not so well. Beth has been placed with a foster family for at least one year while I can bring my home up to the standards the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services has stipulated, the judge commended my idea of installin… Continue

A Long and Rough Road Ahead

I wish to apologize to my friends and all the newcomers here for my lack of activity as of late, and having so much on my mind, especially since the developments of a phone call from Minnesota last week, I feel I need to get this off of my chest....

I received a phone call last Monday, March 23rd that my child had been removed from her mother's custody and had been made a temporary ward of the State of Minnesota. Itasca County Health and Human Services were wanting me to relinquish my parental… Continue

You are very welcome, the attorneys just put down what ever the mother says, they do not bother to check anything out and if you don't come back at them strong the Judge will just accept whatever he is told. I wish you the best of luck. Blessed Be, Cherish
