Members of Earth and Ether,

The goal I had for this little spot in cyberspace, was to help others to be aware of the world around them. To see how they effect it and how it effects them. How we can do more than just get by. How we can bring fancy words and good intentions down to earth. To be able to LIVE what we believe. To be able to take a hold of our integrity and embrace life. We are souls of the universe.

There are so many, myself included, that are secluded from like-minded people. It can make life difficult, awkward and lonely until we realize we are not alone. Living life on a path less taken, with no one close to share it with, can do something else. The words strong, evolved, solid, humble and dedicated come to mind. It can forge your beliefs into iron. You are forced to learn to cope with the heat and the sweat. When the teachings are humbly accepted, the reward is passion for living, peace in our souls and being one with all living things.

I am compelled to do what I can in my own little way. I know there are other people doing the same as me. There are also those that do extensive research, teach through courses and classes or give all their money and or time to helping the poor. Some do hard campaigning for the environment or animal rights, while others work as volunteers in charity organizations. There are many people reaching out to help others. Each of us are one of a kind, sort of like our own race of a human being. It's important that we plant our roots deep and nourish our souls with love. We should do what makes us glow.

So, EARTH and ETHER was born. I want nothing more than to lift someone's spirits every day. I have a passion and a happiness that I want to share with others. At one point in my life, all that disappeared. I was so afraid of other's opinions about my smiles and happiness (negativity, accusations) that I abandoned them. I came back stronger than ever. Just because we have joy in our lives does not mean that there are no hard times or lessons. The saying 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' really is true. And when we are happy and passionate about things, even when life is crappy, it doesn't have to mean we are ignoring reality or looking at the world through tinted glasses. Ride the storm with a grin on your face! Desire the best for yourself and expect the best for yourself.

Hey kallisto, my keys are sticking, i'm not drunk,fro a mputer less that a year old this one is a piece of ka-ka. i'll make a list, maybe someone an make a list. I WANTED TO ASK YOU, ( CAPS LOCK STICK) should you approve groups? so we don't get duplicates? You know me limited brain waves, but i didn't understand a couple of the new groups. we got us another injun today! I mean that in the nicest way.

The saying is if someone gives you lemons you hope you bmp into someone with jose Cuervo Tequila and you can have a a party. This is my querky idea. and it will take some time to set up. Some of us have groups we have put a lot of research in and hope to post alot more as I learn. I read that today's boxed recipes can be better by adding so old timey spices or more eggs , just every da things. I'm going to post those things if we have a RECIPE group. if we don't have one start one. Today is may daughter 's bithday and for some reason my computer opened up to a page for Save our Forest. so as a gift for joing I get 10 trees to send her. I'll be posting the link later. Since we have so many international times, you could pick a time that was covient for all and we could chat. i saw a post it note application, got to find it again and see if it would wok on Ning,
i'd like people to tell stories that have happened to them, ghost stories, tells of the depression, the 60's hippy era, Route 66, I'd like to have contest where we vote on something, doesn't matter what. paganspace.net has an auction. LES has had a vote on his site about the pretty woman (most unusual)here. i think we can put a card game on here where several people could play together. cannasta, rook, Texas hold'em, play for points. i used to sell on ebay and have lots of stuff i could see you as trophies.i belong to a lot of ning developer sites.Plus the Ning site. a friend and i are playing triva. You could make small groups and do contests. i'm sure we have lots ofpeople tat have rafts they would donated so people could see ther work and perhaps they would get more sell i guess i'm rambling. To much time on my hands! everyone could write some in once upon a time an we ould vote on them and submit the best one toa magazine. there is so much we an do, so many projects, i'm into trees right now. i'm supporting the wilderness. send me a note tell me what you think. i want hurt my one nerve, it's under lock and key by ny faerie, Thorn.
